E xtinct And Endangered Animals

Animals or species that no longer exist on earth are

called extinct animals. Dodos, passenger pigeons,
Caribbean monk seals, tecopa pupfish are some
examples of these animals.

Animals get extinct when they cannot adapt to their
surroundings. Dinosaurs were one such species,
present in a huge number on this earth millions of

Dodo years ago. The earth at that time became extremely
cold and they couldn’t adjust and survive in such
weather conditions.

Animals such as tiger, cheetah, Giant Pandas are
disappearing due to extensive deforestation by
humans for their selfish needs. Therefore, the number

of these few animals is on a decline that would soon
result in their extinction. The animals that are on the
Cheetah
verge of extintion are called endangered animals.
