Reptiles

Snakes and lizards are reptiles that lay their eggs on the ground. But only some
eggs from the total number of eggs laid, hatch with the help of the warmth from

the sun. The rest are eaten by other animals.

A nimals Which Give Birth to Babies

Mammals are the animals that give birth to young ones.
They suckle their young ones with their milk after the birth.

Some common examples of mammals are cats, monkeys,
elephants, kangaroos, human beings, etc. Monkey

The young ones of the mammals develop completely
inside the mother’s body. When they are born, they have

hair on the body, they have well-developed brain, and
lungs to breathe. Some mammals like whales, dolphins,
etc., live in water. But most of the mammals live on land.

Dog, cow, monkey and rabbits are some examples of land

                                  are also called aquatic mammals.

Most mammals take care of their babies for long time. They

keep them safe, clean and provide them food. Mammals like
fish, whales, etc., do not take care of their young ones. They
            leave them on their own.
