The body of living things need energy to work. This energy, they get from food they
eat. The food after digestion, needs to be carried to all the body parts. The energy
contained in food reaches to all the body parts by the circulatory system. When the

body uses energy for various activities, a number of waste products are produced.
The excetory system removes these wastes from the body.
