Let’s Begin
Plants and animals provide us different kinds of food. We eat different varieties of food
in our breakfast, lunch and dinner. The choice of food in the three meals varies from
place to place and from person to person. Like, north Indian food is different from south
Indian food – some people like pakoras while others like idlis. However, each of the food
that we consume serves only one purpose in our body, i.e., to provide nutrients.
Pictures of some food items have been given. Name them and mention the source we
get these from.
