Measurement of Capacity Beam Balance

Capacity of a container is the amount of liquid it can hold. Kilolitre (kL), litre (L)

and millilitre (mL) are the units of measurement of capacity. Kilolitre is used for
measuring larger capacities and millilitre (mL) and litre (L) are used for measuring
smaller capacities. For example, mineral water bottle is usually available in litres and a
blood sample is taken in millilitres.
