3. Explain any three characteristics of liquids.

              4. What happens to the molecular movement during condensation? Explain with an example.
              5. What happens to the molecules of water during evaporation?

              6. Differentiate between physical and chemical state of solids.

          Think Hard

Hydrogen and oxygen combine to form water. Can you combine 50 units of hydrogen and 10
units of oxygen? Write yes or no. If no, what will be the number of units of hydrogen and oxygen
          unit that will combine together?

          Project Work

Separate a mixture of sand, salt and iron filings. Write the entire procedure of separation.

          Life Skills Activity

Observe the following and write whether it is a chemical or a physical change.
            a. Rusting of nail

            b. Lighting of a matchstick
            c. Tearing of clothes

            d. Boiling of water
            e. Melting of ice cream

            f. Burning of gas on the stove

          Research and Development

Take some ice cubes and let them melt. Then boil and notice the state of matter. And write what
you have observed from the experiment.
