To save our environment, we all should make an attempt to reduce pollution and make the
world a healthy place to live in. We can use the following ways to protect our environment
from pollution.

1. Air pollution can be reduced by using
vehicles only when needed. We should
walk or go on bicycle to nearby places
instead of using vehicles.

2. The harmful gases and smoke coming
out from industries should be made
safe by processing before releasing it
out from the chimneys.

3. We should plant more and more trees
to reduce air pollution and soil erosion.

4. Before letting out the wastes from
industries and sewage pipelines into
water bodies, proper treatment should
be done.

5. To reduce air and land pollution, there should be proper disposal and management
of wastes.
6. Land pollution can be reduced by using environment friendly fertilizers and manure
in agriculture.

7. We can decrease the use of plastic by using cloth and paper bags instead of polythene
bags.

8. Industries should be constructed far away from the cities.
9. We should avoid use of loud speakers and do not blow horn unnecessarily to reduce
noise pollution.
